Meet Barry
As the Upper Macungie Township Tax Collector, Barry serves members of our local community right here from his office at Fusion Workplaces.
Having a professional, accessible workspace gives Barry a dedicated place to meet with residents, handle the responsibilities of his role, and focus when needed — while still having the support of the Fusion team and the surrounding business community.
We recently asked Barry a few questions about his experience at Fusion and what he values most about being part of our workspace.
What is your favorite part of being a member at Fusion Workplaces?
For Barry, it’s the level of support — not only from the Fusion team, but from the community of businesses around him.
The lengths to which Emma & Garrett go to make certain not only do I have everything I need, but also that my guests are comfortable and have all the information they need about my office and even related information about the Township has been exceptional. But what really surprises me is how helpful other businesses renting space in Fusion Workplaces have been not only to me but my guests as well.
That sense of community is something we work hard to foster at Fusion. While every member has their own private business and workspace, there is always a friendly face nearby and a team ready to help.
How has Fusion Workplaces impacted your life-work balance?
Having a dedicated office can make a big difference when it comes to staying productive and separating focused work from everything else.
Barry shared:
It has been a blessing to have some help in answering the most basic questions that don’t necessarily require speaking with me directly. Equally important has been the ability to close my door and have a quiet space in which to focus and make calls.
For professionals who need both accessibility and privacy, having the flexibility to interact with visitors while still being able to close the door and concentrate can be invaluable.
