Ja-Ann Peterson came aboard in 2013 to run the daily sales and operations at one of the company's managed centers. She arrived with 15 years in asset management behind her, and that grounding in management, sales, training, and development made the move into shared workspace a natural one. It didn't take long for her to blow past sales targets while trimming expenses — a combination that lifted her center's bottom line considerably.
She pulled all of that off while lifting morale among both staff and members, and her location soon became the most profitable one the company managed. In 2016 she stepped up from general manager of a single site to VP of Sales and Development across every managed location. Thanks to Ja-Ann's instincts for managing and executing, occupancy now runs above 95% with healthy profits company-wide.
Her default answer is "yes," and she's forever refining her methods and inventing new ways to meet each member's needs without losing sight of the numbers. A magnetic personality, an eye for detail, and a creative streak make her well suited to such a fast-moving, competitive field.
Ja-Ann holds a degree in Advertising from the University of Mississippi.
